Required Data Types

Purchases

You must indicate that your app collects purchase information in the App Privacy section on App Store Connect.

1
Purchase History Usage

At a minimum, you must acknowledge that your app records purchase details to validate transactions and prevent fraudulent activity, and to enable features like entitlements.

2
Linking Purchase History to Identity

If you use anonymous IDs in Botsi and do not link purchase data to personal information (such as email), select 'No'.
If your app links purchase history to identifiable users (e.g., email addresses), select 'Yes'.

3
Tracking Purchases

If any third-party tools or integrations track users based on their purchase history or utilize it for advertising purposes, this must be disclosed. Botsi, by itself, does not use purchase data to track users across apps unless explicitly configured to do so.

Identifiers

If you have linked purchase history to a user’s identity, you must disclose the type of user identifiers used in your app:

  • If you use custom app IDs, select β€˜User ID’.
  • If you use advertising identifiers, such as IDFA, select β€˜Device ID’.

Once you have made your privacy selections, Apple will display a preview of your app's privacy details. If you have selected Purchases and Identifiers, your privacy section will look like this:

After finalizing your privacy disclosures, you can proceed with submitting your app to Apple for review.
