Offers in Botsi let you provide special deals or discounted prices for your subscriptions on App Store and Google Play. These offers are a great way to attract new users, reward loyal customers, or bring back those who have canceled their subscriptions.

Use this guide to understand how offers work and what you need to prepare before adding them to your Products or Paywalls.

What is an Offer?​

An Offer is a marketing tool that helps you promote your subscription by:

  • Offering introductory prices or free trials to new users.
  • Providing promotional deals to keep current users subscribed.
  • Creating win-back incentives for users who canceled and might be interested in re-subscribing.

  • Offers must be configured within App Store Connect, Google Play Console before being added to Botsi.

Offer Types​

Offers in the App Store or Google Play are special deals or discounts provided by these platforms for in-app purchases. Botsi supports the following types of offers to help you reach and retain users effectively:

Promotional Offer​

A Promotional Offer targets users who are currently subscribed or were previously subscribed. It is a powerful way to encourage loyalty or motivate returning users to rejoin.

These offers can include:

  • Limited-time discounts
  • Access to premium features at reduced rates
  • Custom pricing for special events or app milestones

Promotional offers are ideal for keeping users engaged or rewarding specific audience segments.

Win-back Offer​

A Win-back Offer is aimed at re-engaging churned users; those who canceled or let their subscription expire.

With exclusive deals like:

  • Heavily discounted rates
  • Time-sensitive promotions
  • Special access incentives

...you can persuade past subscribers to return. Win-back offers are a great tactic to reduce churn and recover lost revenue.

How Offers Work in Botsi​

In Botsi, Offers are linked to Products, and optionally displayed in Paywalls.

To use Offers in your app:

  • Add one or more Offers to an existing Product in the Products tab.
  • If you want to feature them on a Paywall, you must also add them during the Paywall creation process.

This lets you show discounted subscription options to your users depending on the context.
