15

A projected happiness-score curve climbing over 30 days with "86% of me users responded that building good habits makes them happier." Goal gradient plus a future you can picture. The chart sells the outcome before any feature does.

16

"Select as many as you want" with ADHD, lack of motivation, no daily plan. Right call to make this multi-select, most people have more than one reason. The ADHD option also self-segments the audience for the CBT-for-ADHD angle later.

17

"Do you relate: I feel anxious when I have a lot to do and don't know where to start." Four screens in a row of agree-with-the-pain statements. Problem agitation, getting you to name the hurt the app will claim to fix.

"CBT for ADHD users" with an ADHD brain versus normal brain graphic. Niche positioning that makes a broad routine app feel built specifically for you. Sharpens the message for the segment that self-selected ADHD earlier.

Me onboarding screen 25: Loading screen at 68%

25

Loading screen at 68% "creating your personal journey" with 4.8 and 16k App Store reviews underneath. The bar makes the personalization feel like real work, and it sneaks ratings in at a moment you're just waiting. Good place to park social proof.

28

A run of yes/no questions: do you want to organize your day, build good habits, be the best version of yourself. Every answer is yes. A commitment ladder that primes agreement right before the contract and the ask.

29

30

"This is a very good start, well done." Small praise beat after a long quiz. Cheap dopamine that keeps completion up before the paywall.

31

Me onboarding screen 32: Sign-your-name-with-your-finger contract:

32

Sign-your-name-with-your-finger contract: "I'll achieve my goal, I'll be the best version of myself." A physical micro-commitment in first person right before the paywall, which nudges buy-in up. The "signature will not be recorded" line removes the only hesitation to actually do it.

34

Three tiers with 12 months defaulted and the only 7-day trial badge, $3.33/mo against a $12.99 monthly anchor. The monthly price makes annual look obvious, and "No Payment Now" lowers the commitment. The 3-month "Popular" tag is the decoy that makes annual feel like the smart buy.

Me onboarding screen 40: They let you skip the paywall

40

They let you skip the paywall. Keeps the soft-wall users in the app instead of bouncing them, and sets up the discounted second offer that follows.

41

42

43

44

"me presents a 2-chapter adventure inspired by CBT to declutter your life." Framing the post-paywall steps as a story instead of a task list. Makes the next few screens feel like progress, not chores.

45

"Want a 100% change? Start by achieving 5%." Sets up one tiny first task so you get a win instead of facing the whole mountain. Value before they ask anything else of you.

46

The ATT tracking prompt fires mid-task, right as you're "choosing a simple task," and the copy admits it's to "personalize marketing campaigns." Burying the prompt inside an action moment is how you lift opt-in rates. Honest copy, aggressive placement.

47

48

49

"Now stretch it out, hold for 15-30 seconds." The first actual thing the app has you do, a real micro-win. This is the aha: you feel the routine work once before deciding to pay or stay.

50

51

52

53

54

"Stretch has been added to your routine, click to log it as a milestone." Turns the onboarding action into a live task on your home screen. Good handoff: you leave onboarding with something already started instead of a blank dashboard.

Me onboarding screen 55: Notification permission framed as

55

Notification permission framed as "increase your success rate by nearly 63%" with a preset 8:30am time. Tying the ask to a specific benefit and number beats a generic "allow notifications." The made-up precision of 63% does a lot of the lifting.

62

Hit the exit and you get a "Super Prize, 50% off" with $19.99/year struck through to $1.67/month. Most people don't buy on the first paywall, so a discounted second offer picks up some of them. Apple restricts countdown discounts, so they dress it as a one-time prize instead.

63

"Starting your wonderful journey, please don't close the page" while the native sheet loads. Small bit of friction-cover so you don't bail in the half-second before the Apple prompt appears.

Persistent "Meet a better self, 50% OFF, $1.7/month" banner pinned to the top of the home screen. For everyone who skipped, the discounted offer follows them into the app instead of disappearing. Always-on second ask.

"Add a stylish widget to personalize your home and lock screen." A retention surface, not a sale. A widget on the home screen is a daily reminder the app exists, which lifts return rate.
