Everand onboarding screen 1: Create an account is the primary button on screen one, a 3-dot value carousel, before a single book is shown — Create an account is the primary button on screen one, a 3-dot value carousel, before a single book is shown. You capture the highest-intent moment, but asking for signup before any value leaks the people who'd happily browse first. Skip up top keeps it soft. I'd test showing a few real titles before the ask.

Everand onboarding screen 2: An OS-level 'everand wants to use scribd.com to sign in' dialog — An OS-level 'everand wants to use scribd.com to sign in' dialog. Extra friction you can't style or skip, and it surfaces the Scribd backend before the user knows the two are related.

Everand onboarding screen 4: Account creation happens in a scribd.com webview — Account creation happens in a scribd.com webview. 'One subscription for Scribd, Everand, and SlideShare' is a clean way to carry one account across the rebrand. The SSO buttons help, but a reCAPTCHA 'I'm not a robot' before you've seen any value is heavy for this early in the flow.

Everand paywall with pricing, onboarding screen 11 — 'Free for 30 days, then $11.99/month.' A 30-day trial is long, and long trials leak: people forget, cancel, or the gap between trying and paying weakens the signal. 'Don't worry, we'll email you before your free trial ends' lowers cancel anxiety, which helps trial starts. I'd test 7 days against 30 and watch trial-to-paid.

Everand onboarding screen 12: Post-paywall drops you into a real library feed with a 'meet Everand' banner, not a blank home — Post-paywall drops you into a real library feed with a 'meet Everand' banner, not a blank home. Bestseller covers and ratings give you something to tap right away, which is the right way to follow a wall.

Everand onboarding screen 16: Interests for You lands after the paywall — Interests for You lands after the paywall. Picking Romance, Mystery, Contemporary Fiction here is exactly the zero-party data that would build perceived value before the ask, but it fires too late to help conversion. The notification prompt is framed by benefit ('personalized recommendations, new releases'), which is the right way to request it.
