The skip on every screen tells you they know it runs long. This is telling instead of showing. I'd compress it and get the user to writing a first task faster.

Ticktick onboarding screen 7: Leading with the Eisenhower matrix as a value prop — Leading with the Eisenhower matrix as a value prop. It's a power-user feature that signals depth, but it's abstract for someone who just wants to jot a to-do down. Works as a 'we go deep' cue, weak as an early onboarding screen.

Ticktick onboarding screen 14: Multi-select feature picker with Task and Calendar pre-checked — Multi-select feature picker with Task and Calendar pre-checked. Light personalization, and it also primes the paywall since the user just told you what they care about. I'd echo these picks downstream, in the empty state or the paywall, instead of just moving on.

Ticktick onboarding screen 15: Account creation lands here, after the carousel but before the user has done anything in the app — Account creation lands here, after the carousel but before the user has done anything in the app. Apple and Google up top lower friction, but you're asking for signup before any real value. Pushing this past the first task would cut dropout.

Dark App Store style with three trust badges (Editors' Choice, App of the Day, 4.9 from 200k ratings). One CTA, 'Try It Now', wrapping a 7-day trial at $35.99/year, plus a close X to bail. Asking to pay before any value is felt is a tough ask. I'd let them finish one task first.

Standard feature-gating anchor. Price reframed as $35.99/year ($3.00/M billed yearly) to make the annual feel small.

Social proof stacked under the comparison table. The '10x capacity' row (999 tasks per list vs 99) is a concrete way to show the gate instead of listing abstract features.

Instead of a blank list, they prompt 'you have a free day, what do you want to do, tap the button to write it down.' An empty state that pushes the user toward the aha moment of creating their first task.
